Time Choose your time Some minor issues but again was a fabulous room with amazing views. The pool was about the same temp as the resort pools and was in direct sunlight from about 11 am and on. The room sits facing the west so every night you see the sunset. So in the morning your private pool does not get direct sunlight and no direct sun beaming in 1st thing in the morning.
The only negative review I can give which is a personal preference is how firm the beds were in the rooms but sleep very well still. I saw many complaints regarding the walking up and down from the sunset bluff area and how spread out the resort is. I feel as though this is completely silly. First of all, once you learn the lay out this resort is easy to get around.
Once you learn to cut through at the piton restaurant it is simple. Plus, between the butler golf carts and shuttles throughout the only way I can see this a true complaint is if you have some sort of disability is the only way you could have issues with this.
When ordering from any of the restraints please understand they are typically coming in small portions unlike in the states where you will have left overs for days. Suggestions when ordering always double appetizers and they should be enough for will main dish. Only problem we ran into is that the only meat my wife eats is shrimp, lobster, crab and crawfish which is very limited.
Also a must is Gordons at the Sandals Grande. Advice a must more than once!!! Very nice and relaxing. The red flags were up a lot of the days we were there but the only thing it stopped us from doing was taking out the little boats. The water was fine to be in and no major issues while swimming at all. Plus remember you can always head over to the other resorts but we never felt the need to. The beach is not private just like any other beach on the island.
So vendors will approach you but the TRICK is let them know you are there to only scuba dive and they will run away from you at that point since it is part of the all-inclusive package. The was amazing staff!!! Very professional and made the dives very fun. We did a total of 8 dives while there.
All were different dives from wall dives to wreck dives from 20 ft. There are negative reviews I read regarding the dive set up and I feel they are unwarranted because the sandals website details all requirements prior to arrival. But again just always read all the guidelines prior to going. This would be a yes. If you can afford it in your budget I would highly recommend it.
